BIRN is committed to helping biomedical researchers access the software tools they need to pursue next-generation research. Many of our current data-sharing and security offerings, described in detail on the Tools page, were created by BIRN users. We also work closely with tool dissemination efforts such as the Neuroimaging Informatics Tools and Resources Clearinghouse (NITRC).
If you have developed tools or capabilities for BIRN-related research, we may be able to help you share them with the wider scientific community. If you would like to integrate your tool with an existing BIRN capability, funds may be available through a current BIRN Program Announcement coordinated by the National Center for Research Resources.
